Plan Review FAQ

Questions employers ask before the review

Is the 401(k) plan review really free?
Yes. The plan health check is complimentary and carries no obligation. You receive a written summary of fees, fund lineup, and fiduciary gaps whether or not you engage us.
What do you need from us to run the review?
Typically your most recent fee disclosure (408(b)(2)), a current fund lineup or participant statement, and your plan documents. We can usually work from a single provider statement to start.
How long does the review take?
Most reviews are completed within five business days, and we respond to new requests within one business day.
Will you contact our current advisor or recordkeeper?
Not without your written permission. The review is confidential and conducted from documents you provide.
Who performs the review?
A fiduciary advisor at a fee-only Registered Investment Advisor, not a sales representative. We accept no commissions or revenue sharing.
